Biography

Sebastian was born on the 2nd of May 1981 in Douai, North of France.He started to learn music by studying music theory, piano and organ at the age of 5.When he was in highschool, Sebastian decided to make his first compositions by using trackers softwares and computers. Some of the tracks consisted in mixing traditionnal instruments like flute or accordion with electronic beats.When he got into university, Sebastian started again to study music, and particularly piano. Really influenced by RPG videogame soundtracks, he tried to compose his own original videogame music; and decided to focus on much more instrumental and melodic music than his first compositions. At this time, he collaborated with amateur videogame directors to create original soundtracks such as "Jeremy Jail" from Garage Tribal.After university studies finished, Sebastian met Liam-ki & Oncle Phil in Lille. Together, they created in 2005 LIMAYE project mixing New-Wave and Hip-hop. It was time to create several live music projects. Sebastian created YUME in 2006 which was much more down-tempo and electro-pop music project. In 2007, Sebastian created two other live music projects much more oriented to techno music called PUNKY SENSEI and VINYLE BONBON. PUNKY SENSEI is a live music project where Sebastian plays a cynical teacher on stage, mixing 8-bit music with funny lyrics in English and Japanese.VINYLE BONBON is a live music project between techno and trance music, where scene takes place into the space.Sebastian traveled and performed gigs in France, UK and Japan recently. It was the opportunity to meet several musicians in these countries, continuing musical activity and making original compositions.
