B i o g r a p h y

Sebastian Beaumont was born in Douai, a small town in the North of France. He began his music studies at the age of 5 by learning piano and organ. 


In 1995, during his secondary school studies, Sebastian started to compose music  in his room using the first personal computer of his family, and the DOS software "Scream tracker".

First steps composing electronic music.


Continuing with music composition in his free time, Sebastian became more and more interested in videogame music.

Sebastian's music evolved to a wider variety of genres.


In 2005, Sebastian met Guillaume, singer and bassist. Together, they created the synthpop duo band "LIMAYE", featuring rappers "Oncle Phil" and "Choda" on stage.

In parallel, during this period, Sebastian created his solo music projects "YUME" (electropop), "PUNKY SENSEI" (powerpop) and "VINYLE BONBON" (techno).


After several gigs in Lille, London and Bristol, Sebastian went to Tokyo in 2008 for Limaye & Yume Japan Tour to perform twenty gigs in two months.


After touring Japan, Sebastian continued his stage music activity, creating a parallel project to "Yume" called "YUME VERSUS".


In 2010, Sebastian met Bertrand, singer and guitarist. Together, they created the metal music project "DESTROYED BY THE VOID". A few years later in 2013, Sebastian returned to Tokyo for "Destroyed by the Void" Japan Tour in July 2013.


Now, Sebastian continues to compose music for videogames, films or documentaries while also conducting his solo stage music projects.
